Complete switchgear testing conducted on-site

Utilizing the integrated control panel of ACTAS P260+ | P360+ (Portable Switchgear Test Systems ll ACTAS P260+ | P360+), it is feasible to perform and assess extensive switchgear tests swiftly and effortlessly, offering a high level of flexibility within a single testing procedure:

Measurement on 12 PIR and main contacts

Assessment of operating times for various switching sequences across up to 12 PIR and main contacts.

Earthing on both sides

When paired with PROMET SE, simultaneous testing can be executed on up to 3 poles, each containing 4 main contact chambers, with earthing on both sides. Additional contact chambers can be accommodated. In GIS systems, the operating times of the breaker units are evaluated through current pulses. For this purpose, Rogowski coils are affixed to the insulated ground of the GIS system.

12 auxiliary contact inputs

Status notifications from as many as 12 auxiliary contacts featuring integrated wet/dry switchover.

9 universal sensor inputs

Up to 9 analog/digital sensor inputs are available for measuring pressure, displacement, current, and temperature for both analog and incremental sensors. These sensor inputs can be flexibly configured based on specific requirements and utilized for specialized measurement procedures such as First Trip or measurements via VDS.

Coil and motor current

Coil current measurement can be performed on as many as 3 closing and 3 opening coils. The ability to select measuring ranges freely allows for the acquisition of highly accurate measurement results.

Relay outputs

There are up to 2 relay outputs available for controlling actuators.

Contact resistance determination

The simultaneous determination of both static and dynamic contact resistance can be executed on 3 poles in conjunction with various PROMET resistance measuring devices. Depending on the PROMET system, it is possible to test measurements on one or more contact chambers per pole and switch at the same time.

Undervoltage release and minimum release voltage

In order to test motors and coils independently of the station voltage, the supply voltage can be supplied by the robust AC/DC source EPOS or other compatible source types. This enables reproducible testing of undervoltage releases and the minimum release voltage of coils under consistent conditions.

Portable Switchgear Test Systems ll ACTAS P260+ | P360+

The KoCoS system solution, which includes ACTAS, PROMET, and EPOS, provides significant benefits owing to its extensive functionality and remarkable flexibility:

– Accurate analysis of the complete contact system and all actuators
– Collaborative operation and data management through ACTAS
– Unified test plan for overseeing the test systems, resulting in a single test report
– Stand-alone functionality of each individual test system to ensure maximum flexibility

Testing capabilities for gas-insulated medium-voltage switchgear

ACTAS P360+ facilitates the straightforward measurement of operating times for a medium-voltage system enclosed in SF6 gas, utilizing the capacitive measuring points of the switch’s own VDS system. The connection is established directly to the measuring inputs of the ACTAS test system without the need for additional measuring components.

First Trip Measurements

Thanks to the various connection options available for sensors, first trip measurements can also be performed using ACTAS. For this purpose, up to five current clamps are connected to the secondary side of the current transformers and to the coils. By employing external trigger signals, the ACTAS test system can automatically ascertain the switching time during the initial switching operation.

Durable and dependable, even within the extra-high voltage spectrum

The ACTAS P260+ | P360+ models boast a compact and sturdy design housed in a convenient hard case. Utilizing reliable hardware components ensures consistent performance during on-site evaluations of medium, high, and extra-high voltage switchgear, disconnectors, and earthing switches.

User-friendly operation and assessment via touch screen

An enhanced, intuitive operating concept combined with more powerful hardware facilitates straightforward operation while providing optimal visibility of all information. The well-organized user interface is designed to be self-explanatory, guiding users swiftly and intuitively to their objectives without the need for extensive training.

7″ touch screen featuring a graphical user interface
Presentation of measurement outcomes through clear graphics and icons
Test reports available in PDF format
Options for test configurations from various templates
LED indicators for straightforward contact status display
USB and Ethernet ports for direct connections to PCs/networks and additional devices

Parameterize and analyze

Tests can be parameterized and their results analyzed either directly on the device at the site or in the office using a PC with the ACTAS test software. Test data and parameters are readily importable or exportable at any time, for instance, through a USB flash drive or a network connection.
