Description
Portable Switchgear Test Systems – ACTAS BTT 2.0
Handheld ACTAS BTT 2.0 measuring device that runs on batteries to measure coil Currents contact synchronicity sequence time & operating times.
Battery-operated, highly accurate timing analyzer
Operating times, contact synchronicity, sequence time, and coil currents can all be quickly and easily measured with the battery-operated, portable ACTAS BTT 2.0. Relay contacts, contactors, switch disconnectors, and low-, medium-, and high-voltage switchgear devices are just a few of the many applications for which ACTAS BTT 2.0 can be used because of its broad functionality and high measurement accuracy.

Establishing operating hours
One output on ACTAS BTT 2.0 (Portable Switchgear Test Systems II ACTAS BTT 2.0) is used to control a switchgear device’s OPEN coils, and another is used to control its CLOSE coils. Coils powered by DC and AC can be controlled using both outputs. By initiating C, O, and CO switching operations, it is easy and reliable to determine operating times on up to three primary contacts. The corresponding operating times for each binary input are displayed clearly in the graphical display.
Verify the synchronicity of contact
Portable Switchgear Test Systems II ACTAS BTT 2.0 establishes the synchronicity of the opening and closing operations of the primary contacts in addition to establishing the operating times.
This enables the measurement of the time interval between the first and last contact touch of the poles during a closing or opening operation in a three-phase grid, for instance, when evaluating a switchgear device.
Coil current measurement
When the operating times are being measured, the coil current is automatically measured. The outcome shows both the mean and the peak value, enabling evaluation of the release coils’ mechanical and/or electrical performance.
Safe inputs and outputs
Overvoltage protection and galvanic isolation are applied to the inputs and outputs. Additionally, the outputs are shielded from overheating and overload.
Real-time visualization
The device’s status is displayed on the display, and all of its inputs and outputs are managed in real time.
Verify the switchgear device’s control voltage.
The integrated monitoring unit shows whether the switchgear device’s CLOSE and OPEN coils are receiving the control voltage. This method also reliably detects faulty cables or incorrect measuring device connections.
Ergonomic, small design
The measuring device can be held and used with just one hand because of its small size and ergonomic design. The device is user-friendly thanks to acoustic signals and a graphical display that is even readable in direct sunlight.
Simple to use
Each test mode has its own set of keys on the measuring device. The keys’ ergonomic layout allows for the best possible handling, and taking measurements is quick and simple. Portable Switchgear Test Systems II ACTAS BTT 2.0 can be used independently or in conjunction with a smartphone. A smartphone can be used to create, store, and transmit test reports.
Up to eighteen hours of battery life
The integrated rechargeable batteries that power the ACTAS BTT 2.0 allow it to run continuously for up to eighteen hours.
A microprocessor keeps track of both the batteries’ charging condition and the charging process itself. While charging, the gadget can be used.
Complete with a bag and accessories
The scope of delivery already includes a wide variety of accessories with all required cables, adapters, and clamps. The scope of delivery also includes a sturdy, padded carrying bag that holds the measuring device and accessories.
