MIT525/2, MIT1025/2, MIT1525/2
Use PI PredictorTM, RE>ActTM test mode, onboard storage, and simple result export to PowerDB or CertSuite to do advanced insulation testing.
About the product
For engineers and technicians doing insulation testing on transformers, motors, switchgear, and cables in conditions up to 230 kV, the Megger Advanced line of 5 kV, 10 kV, and 15 kV insulation resistance testers is perfect. The diagnostic depth required for condition evaluation and maintenance planning is provided by these instruments, which support IR, DAR, PI, DD, SV, ramp, and PDC (with software).
Each model has PI PredictorTM to expedite testing, internal memory to store results, and optional Bluetooth® to export data to PowerDB or CertSuite without the need for manual recording. The novel, patent-applied RE>Act test mode enables the user to make precise measurements by monitoring reabsorption current; this ground-breaking test mode can ensure that reabsorption current does not result in incorrectly passing or failing insulation, helping to maintain safety; additionally, the test mode can be used to ensure that dangerous return voltages do not occur.
By tracking reabsorption current, the user can make precise measurements using the novel patent-applied RE>Act test mode. This innovative test mode can help to preserve safety by ensuring that reabsorption current does not cause insulation to fail or pass wrongly. Furthermore, it is possible to prevent hazardous return voltages by using the test mode.
Depending on the test voltage you need, select from three models: MIT525/2, MIT1025/2, and MIT1525/2. With 6 mA noise immunity and high-performance guard terminals, the Advanced range provides dependable results in situations where substation-level noise handling and remote control are not necessary. When remote control and substation-level noise handling are not needed, the Advanced range’s 6 mA noise immunity and high-performance guard terminals provide dependable results.
