The BM5200 5 kV insulation resistance tester is specifically engineered for conducting high voltage insulation resistance assessments in the maintenance and servicing of cables, rotating machinery, transformers, switchgear, and various industrial applications.

Utilizing the BM5200, users can execute DC insulation tests at voltage levels of 250 V, 500 V, 1000 V, 2500 V, and 5000 V. The device’s insulation resistance measurement range spans from 100 kΩ to 1000 GΩ. Additionally, it features an automatic discharge function for capacitive circuits under examination and presents decaying voltage readings.

This instrument is powered by batteries and is equipped with both digital and analogue arc displays. Furthermore, it incorporates a guard terminal to enhance the precision of its measurements by reducing the impact of surface leakage, which can result in inaccuracies during testing.
