The Megger MIT410/2 (1006-732) Insulation and Continuity Tester is engineered for both electrical and industrial testing, and it boasts an exceptionally broad spectrum of applications in areas such as electrical installations, cable testing, motor testing, automotive, ESD, panel building, avionics, maintenance, and beyond. The insulation testing capabilities of the MIT410/2 have been improved with feedback-controlled test voltages that restrict over-voltage to 2%, in contrast to the industry standard of 10-20%. Furthermore, continuity testing has become considerably quicker, with a single auto-ranging function that spans from 0.01 ohms to 1.0 Megaohm, effectively replacing the previous “ohms” and “kOhms” ranges.
The MIT410/2 is equipped with a durable casing, a back-stand, and a 6-cell battery compartment that allows for separate access to the fuse. It features over-molding for enhanced protection and achieves an IP54 weatherproof rating.

The stabilized insulation test voltage for the MIT410/2 is precise to +2% -0%. This is a significant improvement over the industry standard of +20%, offering a more accurate test voltage while minimizing the risk of over-voltage damage to circuits or components. The output voltage remains consistent between 0 and 2% throughout the entire test range.
